Ezekia includes several AI features. Some work out of the box, some need an OpenAI subscription connected by your administrator, and some let you connect external AI tools to Ezekia. This page lists what is available and points to the detailed guide for each one.
AI can get it wrong. Always check the results it returns before acting on them or sharing them with a client.
Available without an OpenAI subscription
These are part of Ezekia and need no additional subscription.
- People like this finds candidates with similar attributes to the person you are viewing, and lets you add the ones you want straight into a project.
https://ezekia.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/101000558300 - AI CV enhancement improves profile details such as industry and job role when a CV is parsed, based on the content of the CV compared with other people in your database.
https://ezekia.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/101000562841 - AI email prediction is an optional Chrome extension setting. Where a profile has no email address, Ezekia will attempt to predict one from the email structure of other people at the same company and label it "Predicted".

Searching by describing the role
- AI candidate search lets you search using a written brief or an uploaded job description rather than keywords. Prompt mode suits a short natural language brief, File mode suits a longer document in .docx or .txt. Quick search returns a broader set faster, Smart search reranks a shorter list and explains why each candidate matched.

- AI Sidekick is the panel opened from the stars icon on the right of every screen. It answers questions about the record you are on and can update Ezekia fields with the information in the panel.
https://ezekia.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/101000562838 - AI connectors in the Sidekick make information from other systems available in that same panel, so you can ask about Outlook mail and calendar, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Excel, To Do and Slack without leaving Ezekia.
https://ezekia.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/101000589548 - The AI button on notes and emails drafts, expands, summarises, improves or translates text in place, including generating a candidate summary from the profile.
https://ezekia.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/101000562841 - AI enrichment and creation builds out person and company records using publicly available information from the internet.
https://ezekia.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/101000562839 - AI in the Query Builder lets you create or amend a query by describing the data you want in plain English, and ask questions about the results once the query has run.

Connecting external AI tools to Ezekia
The Ezekia AI Server lets external AI tools connect to your Ezekia account and search, retrieve, create and update records using natural language. This runs in the opposite direction to the Sidekick connectors above: those bring information from other systems in, this lets external tools work with your Ezekia data.

Automating work with AI
- AI Automations attach an AI agent to an event such as a meeting being saved or a record being updated, and then carry out your written instructions. They run in the background and do not ask for confirmation before making changes, so read the guidance before enabling one.

Where to start
If you are not sure which of these features your firm has switched on, ask your Ezekia administrator or contact us at support@ezekia.com. We can confirm what is available on your instance, help your administrator with the configuration, and run a session with your team on any of the features above.
Some firms want to go further than the standard features: custom prompts in the Sidekick, bespoke AI Automations, API or MCP integrations with your other systems, or agentic workflows that run outside Ezekia. Building that for you is not something our Customer Success team does, but it is still worth talking to us first. Some of what firms ask consultants to build is already available as standard or is on our roadmap, and we can tell you what is technically possible before you scope a piece of work.
If you do bring in outside help, we keep a list of independent consultants who have worked with Ezekia firms on this type of work. It is provided for information only and is not an endorsement or a recommendation, so please read the guidance on that page and carry out your own due diligence before giving anyone access to your data or your instance.
