Some users have noticed that they are not able to drag an attachment direct from an email in a newer version of Outlook, to an attachments page in Ezekia.
Our developers haves pent a considerable amount of time investigating why the drag and drop of attachments direct from a new version of Outlook doesn't work, and even more time in trying to find an alternative solution so that users can use the feature again.
If you Google for the problem, you will find large numbers of user complaints about the issue - users even found that the drag and drop feature does not work in Microsoft's own web applications like SharePoint, whilst it still works perfectly from the old version of Outlook. This undoubtedly is a Microsoft issue, but in the hopes of mitigating the problem for our users, we began looking for alternative approaches. All the approaches we considered involved multiple clicks, so were no more convenient than dropping the attachment on the desktop first and then uploading it from there.
We remain hopeful that Microsoft will remedy this situation soon, but in the meantime we remain open-minded to new approaches that may become available.
