There are two ways to upload/attach a CV to an existing person profile Ezekia.
1. Upload as a Document: This method allows you to attach the CV to an already created profile without parsing its contents. This is useful to just keep the CV as a record, without changing any of the details on the candidate's profile. This option is available from the Attachments section:
2. Parse the CV: This method extracts information from the CV and updates the candidate’s profile automatically. This is useful if the candidate’s has supplied you with an updated CV. To use this feature, ensure you select the Update with CV / Resume option on the info page to amend the work history:
Ceate a New Profile from a CV (Import)
If the person does not yet have a record in Ezekia, this method allows you to create a completely new profile directly from a CV.
To create a new profile from a CV:
- Click on the People icon (top right of Ezekia).
- Click New and select CV / Resume.
- Either click Browse or drag and drop the CV into the upload box:
- Ezekia will parse the CV and automatically create a new candidate profile populated with the extracted information.
Alternatively, you can also add a new candidate from within an assignment:
- Open the assignment.
- Click on the Candidate icon on the left.
- Select Import.
- Upload the CV (Browse or drag and drop):
- The candidate will be created and added directly into that assignment or project.
