Not Actively Looking (NAL) is a sister site of ours where executives can sign up and enter their career details, similar to LinkedIn. Unlike LinkedIn, it is a private system where profiles can only be seen by the search firms the executives choose, so their profiles will also include things like salary and full contact details.
If a person connects to your firm, they can appear in the candidate search screen like any other profile on the system (but with an NAL icon). If they have not connected to your firm, NAL profiles will still come up in candidate searches, but they will be anonymised. When you add an anonymous NAL profile to an assignment, the executive will be asked if they want to connect to your firm - if they do, you will be notified, and you will see their full profile.
You can encourage executives to sign up with NAL and connect to your firm:
1. Ensure your firm's profile page (via the 3 line icon) is up to is up-to-date and accurate.
2. Add a link to your firm's NAL registration page to your website. You can find this on your Settings, Global page. Anyone that signs up using your firm's registration link will always be connected to your firm.
You can remove NAL profiles from your candidate search results (after running the search) by unticking the two boxes shown.
