The Chrome extension is currently being affected by changes being made by a third-party platform. To overcome these difficulties, our developers are working hard to stabilise the Chrome extension once more and to restore some of the features that were temporarily dropped from it.
Several features are yet to be restored. The developers are working on these now.
- The languages of account holders can only be English, French, German, Spanish & Dutch.
- Not all the positions are always imported
- Skills are not imported
Some users report that profiles sometimes return a yellow 'no profiles' error. This can usually be resolved by refreshing the browser page.
Other issues, such as a blank extension panel or red error messages, can also occur. These are often caused by Google's automated update process, which can be prone to corrupting the extension when it is updated. This is an easy problem to resolve or rule out by reloading the extension yourself manually using these instructions: How do I remove and re-add the Chrome Extension?
After doing that, if you continue to experience problems, please take some example screenshots of the whole LinkedIn page with the extension showing the issue. We will pass these to the developers so that they can investigate the problems.
