The Chrome extension has been affected by significant changes made by a third-party platform. These problems have largely been overcome, but there are some limitations that are now imposed upon us by these changes that are unlikely to be resolved in the near future:
It is no longer possible to perform the following:
- Bulk import
- Position industries import
The following are possible on Recruiter, but the standard platform has the following limitations:
- Position import - only the top 5 can be imported.
- Education import - only the top 2 can be imported.
- Skill import - only the top 2 can be imported.
- Language import - only the top 2 can be imported.
Other display issues can sometimes occur. These are often caused by Google's automated update process, which can be prone to corrupting the extension when it is updated. This is an easy problem to resolve or rule out by reloading the extension yourself manually using these instructions: How do I remove and re-add the Chrome Extension?
Some users report that profiles sometimes return a yellow 'no profiles' error. This can usually be resolved by refreshing the browser page.
After doing that, if you continue to experience problems, please take screenshots of the whole page showing the issue, with the extension visible. We will pass these to the developers so that they can investigate the problems.
