When importing a profile, click the ‘companies’ button (1 - below) and you will see which companies are on the person’s profile. Any that are already on the system with a name that exactly matches, will be shown with a tick against them – in this case you don’t need to do anything else; the candidate will be imported to the ticked companies and there is no chance of creating a duplicate company.
If a company you want to include is not ticked, it is a good idea to check that there is not a similar, but slightly differently named company already on your Ezekia system.
- If there isn’t a company already on Ezekia, tick the company you want (2) and save – the company will be created as part of the candidate import process.
- If there is a similar company name, do not tick it in the Chrome extension, as this will create a near duplicate company record. Instead, import the person without ticking the company, and relate it separately to the company record in Ezekia.
