Companies can be entered manually or can come from the Chrome Extension positions list.
Note that not all the companies on the experience list will result in a company record being added to the system. This is to prevent years of companies from someone’s experience being created when half of them may not exist any more. In the Chrome Extension, there is a companies button that will let you pick which companies should be added prior to importing someone.
After importing someone by any method, you can switch them to be against a company record by copying their company name in their positions data from the field text on the right to the company record field on the left (there is the opportunity to create a new company if necessary using this method).
