When ticked, the ‘Remember Me’ box on the login page helps keep you signed in when you’re on a secure network, even if you’re idle or away from Ezekia for more than 2 hours. It extends your session for up to 4 hours. During this time, you’ll be automatically signed back in - without needing to re-enter your password or complete two-factor authentication (2FA) each time.

You’ll only be asked to complete 2FA again on a new device, if you fully log out or when the Remember Me period expires (30 days default).

If you’re still being logged out despite ticking ‘Remember Me’, this is often caused by how your browser manages cookies, cache, or session storage.

Here are a few troubleshooting steps that might help:

  1. Browser Settings:
    • Ensure your browser allows cookies.
    • Check that your browser isn’t set to automatically delete cookies when it closes.
  2. Cache and Cookies:
    • Some browser extensions or privacy settings may interfere with cookie storage.
    • Review your browser’s cache and cookie settings. Below are guides for common browsers:
  3. Browser Updates:
    • Confirm that your browser is up to date, as updates may resolve session handling issues.
  4. Try a Different Browser:
    • If the issue persists, testing with another browser can help determine if the problem is browser specific. If a different browser works fine, then please clear your cookies, cache and site settings from your original browser by following this guide: Screen loading problems with Ezekia

Still having issues?

If the problem continues, please email support@ezekia.com with the following details to help us investigate:

  • How frequently are you being logged out?
  • Does anything specific happen right before you’re logged out (e.g. locking your screen, restarting, switching apps etc)?
  • Are other colleagues at your firm experiencing the same issue?

It might also be worth asking your IT team to assist so they confirm if a reverse proxy or VPN is removing cookies from outgoing/incoming requests or if caching layers are returning stale/unauthenticated responses.
