Contacts are people that actually have a connection to the company record in their profile (so the company name is clickable in the person profile). Suggested connections are people that are not physically connected to the company (they just have the company as a plain text name, rather than a link to the company record).
It typically happens if profiles are added for a company that doesn’t exist as a record in Ezekia, then the Company is later added. The people that already existed when the company was added will become ‘suggested’.
Some firms prefer to control exactly who is connected to company records, whilst others just want to add everyone that ever worked for a company.
To make a suggested contact an actual contact, open the suggested contact panel (1) and select the required people (2). Click ‘Link to company’ (3) to move the person to the main contacts list (refresh the page to see them there).
