How can I archive or delete records?

Person Records

Person records can be deleted in two ways:

  • From the People List Page: You can select one or multiple person records to delete by checking them on the people list page and clicking the delete button. This allows for bulk deletion if needed.
  • Within the Person Record: You can also delete a person directly from within their individual record page by using the delete option available there.

Projects (Assignments, Opportunities, and Lists)

For project types—such as Assignments, Opportunities, and Lists—deletion is a two-stage process:

  1. Archive the Project:
    • You can archive multiple projects by selecting them on the Assignments/Opportunities/Lists pages and clicking 'Archive'.
    • Or archive an individual project directly from its info page by scrolling to the very bottom and entering in the word 'Archive' in the box.
  2. Delete from Archive:
    • To delete the projects permanently, open the archive page for that project type by selecting More Filters then enable the 'Archive' filter.
  • Select the archived projects, then use the bin/trash can icon to complete the deletion. Note: Deletion is permanent. You can restore any incorrectly archived records from here too.

Company Records

Company records follow the same two-stage process as projects for deletion:

  1. Archive the Company Record:
    • You can archive multiple company records by selecting them on the company list page and clicking 'Archive.'
    • Or archive an individual company directly from its info page by scrolling to the very bottom and entering in the word 'Archive' in the box.
  2. Delete from Archive:
  • To delete the company records permanently, open the archive page for companies by selecting More Filters then enable the 'Archive' filter.
  • Select the archived companies, then use the bin/trash can icon to complete the deletion. Note: Deletion is permanent. You can restore any incorrectly archived records from here too.

Please Note: There may be restrictions placed on who and what can be archived. If that’s the case, you will be prompted to contact the record owner or an Ezekia admin at your firm.
