This is probably a settings issue – most likely, you need to display the ‘Most recently added’ (The most recently added pipeline tag) pipeline tags rather than the ‘Highest priority’ (By the last pipeline tag set in order) or 'All tags' (All pipeline tags on the person).
The 'Highest Priority' setting will mean that you will see pipelines according to the order in which they are set on your system; the furthest one down the list will be displayed, even if something higher in the list is later selected.
The 'Most recently added' setting means that you will see whatever pipeline was selected last, regardless of the order in which they were set up.
'All Tags' will list every historical tags that have been applied to the candidate, so they will show in every tag section.
There are two places to check in your project settings (shown below). They need to be set consistently with each other for the screens to display properly. You only need to change it on one project, and all others will use the new setting.
If this resolves the issue, then to make sure everyone sees the right statuses, every user at your firm will need to use these same settings.

If you use Client Portals, you will need to make similar changes to the candidates page, using items 1 -5 shown below.
