The visibility of meetings is set so that people can choose if the meeting should be ‘public’ (and visible to other users in Ezekia) or ‘private’ (not visible, except to those involved in the meeting).  

 

For all meetings created in Ezekia, the public flag is set, so that all other users can see them.  


For those meetings created in Outlook, the default is that the private flag is set instead (as there is a higher likelihood of meetings in Outlook being of a more personal/sensitive nature).  In this case, any meetings synchronised from Outlook need to be changed to ‘Public’ if the organiser wants other people (who are not involved in the meeting) to see them.  


The icon for public/private is arrowed in the example meeting below (the icon shown is 'public').  Note that the padlock icon is used to set the ‘Private’ flag in Outlook, rather than dictate public or private state in Ezekia.

 


Note that it is possible for a user to change the default in 'Settings' then Personal page, so that any meetings they synchronise from Outlook are marked as public instead:
